mens retreatIn recent years there has been a growing emphasis on growth and engagement in Men’s Ministries among various churches and congregations. While regular ministry and gatherings, whether monthly or weekly, are important, well-planned and thoughtful retreats are a great source of growth. They provide the opportunity for not only spiritual renewal on an individual basis but building a closer fellowship.

A retreat in nature can help build bonds, renew energy, and build enthusiasm for outreach work. The top locations for getaways for men’s retreats favor areas wrapped in the natural world with fresh air, activities, and gorgeous views.

No matter the season or weather, retreats in nature help improve one's sense of well-being, help reduce stress and restore our connection to the world and people around us on a more spiritual level.

Where to Host a Men’s Retreat

One of the biggest hurdles for planning a men’s retreat is getting buy-in for attendance. There can be an inherent fear for new attendees that it might be a cheesy or uncomfortable experience. Hosting your men’s retreat in an area that allows for outdoor activities helps mitigate that experience allowing relationships and faith to build naturally while participating in activities and adventures.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful areas in the world, nestled right amongst the Rocky Mountains, is Estes Park. This natural playground, just 70 miles from Denver, provides ample opportunities for those who find peace, inspiration, and adventure in the wondrous world around us.

Whether you enjoy a thoughtful hike, fly fishing, horseback riding, white water rafting, or the charm of walking, downtown Estes Park offers complete services and facilities for conferences, meetings, and seminars of all sizes.
