Located at the “Gateway To The Rocky Mountains” is the home of the best youth retreat facility in Colorado- High Peak Camp. While we may be biased, there is no better way to get your youth group out of the fast-paced life than a retreat in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the US. 

The goal of High Peak Camp (a Salvation Army Camp)  is to serve the total person physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. We believe that using nature and the great outdoors is a great way to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach environmental awareness, encourage pro-social behavior and safely provide opportunities for fun and adventure. 

While we are primarily a camp, this mission bleeds over into our retreat offerings. We have a variety of amazing activities, lodging options, and close access to Rocky Mountain National Park. 

As for outdoor amenities, we have a new zip line that was finished in 2016, a mini golf course, an archery range, and a 40-foot climbing tower that was finished in 2012. We have a basketball court, sand volleyball court, and state-of-the-art Astroturf soccer field. On our property, there are many simple hiking routes, and there is nearby access to Rocky Mountain National Park as well as incredible fly fishing.

Lodging

The amenities of High Peak Camp are a special fusion of old and new. There are modern constructions mixed in with the old ones.

Our five newest dorms include 176 beds for overnight stays. There are 25 rooms in our Rocky Mountain Lodge, which can house up to 90 guests. Our two-story mill building, cutting-edge chapel, coach stop, and lodge rooms have enough space for indoor group meetings. Numerous smaller cabins are additionally accessible.
